The Napa Valley Film Festival relies on the dedication of hundreds of volunteers who generously donate their time and share their love of the Napa Valley with festival attendees. Volunteers assist in all operational aspects of the festival—from managing theaters, box offices, and special events to hosting filmmakers and other seasonal staff the week of the festival.
Receive one volunteer voucher for every 4-6 hours you work. Volunteer vouchers are redeemable for films on a space-available basis. Vouchers are non transferable.
Receive a volunteer credential. This credential gives you access to unlimited film screenings when not volunteering. Films can be viewed on a space-available basis.
Receive a volunteer credential, grub stubs, and select invites to year-round screenings. Grub stubs are meal vouchers that can be used at a variety of partner restaurants.
Invite a filmmaker, artist, or NVFF team member to stay in your home during the week of the festival. Host families receive a Festival Pass to attend NVFF20.
“You contribute with your energy to something bigger, where you meet very interesting people and get a perspective of others. It is a way to share feelings and experiences with people from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.“
“Community is vital to our survival. The more we engage in activities that brings us closer to our neighbors and community the healthier and happier we will be. NVFF provides this for not only Napa, but also the surrounding Northern California and beyond.“
“NVFF treats their volunteers to all the best! Passes and parties! Pre-parties! Post-parties! What a great experience to have in our backyard! No expensive travel or hotels involved. You get to volunteer, participate, celebrate and sleep in your own bed!“
